Chocolate Crepe with Jam

Serves: 8


2 cups, milk
2 eggs
3 tablespoons, unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups, all-purpose flour
1/3 cup, unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup, sugar
1/2 teaspoon, salt
jam for serving
Whipped cream for serving


  1. In a blender, combine milk, eggs, butter, flour, cocoa powder, sugar and salt, and blend until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Let batter stand at least 30 minutes or as long as overnight (refrigerate if allowing to stand more than 1 hour.)
  3. Preheat an electric crepe maker and make crepes according to manufacturer’s instructions. Or use conventional stove-top.
  4. Serve with jam and whipped cream.
